Hybrid Hazelnut (Corylus avellana x americana x cornuta) is a cross between the common European, the American and the beaked hazelnut to produce a high yielding, disease and pest resistant, extreamly cold hardy, and youthful bearing hazelnut. These are open polinated seedlings that combine the best genetics from breeding programs in Alberta, New York, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin.
