Italian Honey Fig (Ficus carica) is a productive easy to grow fig that does well in cold climates. It will die back to the ground in zone 7 or colder but grows back quickly and set fruit in fall on first year growth. If in warmer climates you will get a crop in early summer on second year growth as well as a fall crop on new growth.
