Shipping Policy

We try our best to ship out orders on the date in the table below but the actual date may vary based on weather and order volume.

Plants are shipped bare root, packed in damp sawdust, and wrapped in plastic to keep the roots from drying out.  Plants will ship USPS Priority and should arrive 2-5 days after being packaged.

If you cant plant your trees right away, soak them in water for a few hours and heel them in.  They should be planted within a 3 days of arrival.

We guaranteed our plants to arrive alive and well. If you’re plants do not survive you may receive a refund if you:

1. Live in the appropriate USDA hardiness zone for the variety selected (see map below).
2. Keep the roots moist and plant within 3 days of receiving your order as described in this Planting Guide. 

If you suspect your tree is dead please follow this guide on How to Tell if Your Tree is Dead or Dormant. Plants are shipped dormant and depending on the species will leaf out at different times. If you suspect the plant is not alive you can scratch the bark and look for a fresh green color that will indicate a healthy plant that just
